Welcome to the Writing & Speaking Center at the University of Nevada, Reno.

The UWSC is open for in-person appointments, online appointments, and writing lab use for the spring 2026 semester.

The regular hours of operation for the spring 2026 semester are:

Monday: 8:45am-5:00pm
Tuesday: 8:45am-7:15pm
Wednesday: 8:45am-7:15pm
Thursday: 8:45am-7:15pm
Friday: 8:45am-4:15pm
Sunday: 2:00pm-5:45pm

During the last few days of the semester, we will run a limited schedule:

Monday, May 11: 8:45am-5:00pm
Tuesday, May 12: 8:45am-5:00pm
Wednesday, May 13: 8:45am-4:15pm

We will reopen on Tuesday, May 19 for summer session support.

The UWSC lab is open for student use during our hours of operation. Come use our space for studying, computer work, printing, and relaxing between classes.
