Welcome to the Writing & Speaking Center at the University of Nevada, Reno.

The UWSC is open for in-person appointments, online appointments, and writing lab use for summer 2026.

The regular hours of operation for summer 2026 are:

Monday: 9:30am-4:15pm
Tuesday: 9:30am-4:15pm
Wednesday: 9:30am-4:15pm
Thursday: 9:30am-4:15pm
Friday: 9:30am-4:15pm

The UWSC will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of the July 4th holiday. We will resume appointments on Monday, July 6th. Please email mmcbride@unr.edu with any questions.

The UWSC lab is open for student use during our hours of operation. Come use our space for studying, computer work, printing, and relaxing between classes.
