Welcome to the Writing & Speaking Center at the University of Nevada, Reno.

The UWSC is open for in-person appointments, online appointments, and writing lab use for the spring 2026 semester starting on Tuesday, January 20th.

The hours of operation for the spring 2026 semester are:

Monday: 8:45am-5:00pm
Tuesday: 8:45am-7:15pm
Wednesday: 8:45am-7:15pm
Thursday: 8:45am-7:15pm
Friday: 8:45am-4:15pm
Sunday: 2:00pm-5:45pm

The UWSC lab is open for student use during our hours of operation. Come use our space for studying, computer work, printing, and relaxing between classes.
