Welcome to the Writing & Speaking Center at the University of Nevada, Reno.

The UWSC is open for in-person appointments, online appointments, and writing lab use for the spring 2026 semester.

Over spring break, a limited schedule will be available from Monday, March 23 through Sunday, March 29. All appointments will be held online (either synchronously or asynchronously) during this week. We will reopen for our regular schedule and in-person support on Monday, March 30.

The hours of operation for the spring 2026 semester are:

Monday: 8:45am-5:00pm
Tuesday: 8:45am-7:15pm
Wednesday: 8:45am-7:15pm
Thursday: 8:45am-7:15pm
Friday: 8:45am-4:15pm
Sunday: 2:00pm-5:45pm

The UWSC lab is open for student use during our hours of operation. Come use our space for studying, computer work, printing, and relaxing between classes.
